description

S-Glass Fabric is a kind of excellent performance of inorganic non-metallic materials, compared to normal fiberglass, S-glass have 30-40% higher tensile strength, 15-20% higher modulus of elasticity under condition of 4020, 4600MPa, 100-150℃ higher temperature endurance under condition of 82.9, 86.4GPa, 10 times higher fatigue resistance, also they have excellent impact resistance because of high elongation to break, high ageing corrosion resistance, quick resin wet-out properties. Compared to carbon fiber material, S-Glass is non-electromagnetic shielding, so it is a good material to produced and used in Military, spacecraft, aerospace, marine bulletproof armor and sports equipment.

 

Now Unitex provide S-Glass Fabric thickness from 0.08mm to 0.32mm, width 90mm--1800mm in plain, twill, satin woven pattern etc., as well as high strength fiberglass unidirectional fabric and woven ravings., widely used in such as helicopter blades, aircraft flooring and interiors, vehicle and vessel armor protection, fireman and scuba bottles, and high strength timing belts.
