Aramid fiber is firstly developed in 1960s by DuPont company in USA. The trade name of DuPont Para-Aramid is Kevlar, and also DuPont have developed Meta-Aramid named Nomex.in 1965. The full chemical name of Aramid is poly- p- phenylene terephthamide, It is an advanced high strength, high modulus synthetic fiber. Weight is only 1/5 of the steel, he strength is 5 to 6 times the strength of steel. The modulus is 2 to 3 times that of steel. Toughness is twice to steel.  It has soft feel, good spinnability, good insulation performance, long term working life and flame resistance.

Aramid fiber knitted sleeve is a knitted weave sleeve, it is more tightness compared to normal braided sleeve with more soft feeling. It is suitable for automobile, marine heat insulation. Also suitable for garment production, equipment protection.
